On 29 April 2013 outreach activities organized by GLYCOPHARM started with a session about research activity at the faculty of pharmacy in the Funadación Univarsitaria San Pablo CEU. The event was organized by Dr. Sonsoles Martín-Santamaría, associate professor in the university and member of GLYCOPHARM. 

Two seminars were imparted during the session, on the one hand, Dr Sonsoles Martín-Santamaría gave an interesting seminar with scientific contents titled "Computational Chemical Biology: Toll-like receptors and galectins as therapeutic targets".

The main focus of the second seminar was to give an overview to the Marie Curie Actions, in particular, to the Initial Training Networks (ITN).  The seminar titled "GLYCOPHARM: an ITN Marie Curie project in our University" were imparted by Dr. Dolores Solis, a senior researcher at the Centro Superior de Investigaciones Científicas and coordinator of the ITN GLYCOPHARM. In this seminar there was a special participation of two Early Stage Researchers who explained their experience in an ITN, Ms. Alessandra Lacetera, as recently incorporated Early Stage Researcher in the ITN GLYCOPHARM, and Ioanna Kalograiaki, who has been working as an Early Stage Researcher in the ITN DYNANO during the last 9 months.
